We thank God for His continuous Grace.

The 23rd Edition of Modupeoreoluwa Widows Assistance Fund's Event of granting interest free loan to eligible widows to empower them to sustain themselves and their wards took place in Igbajo yesterday.

It was also the 28th anniversary of the demise of late Chief (Mrs) Florence Modupeoreoluwa Aboaba in whose memory the Fund is named.

Twenty (29) widows benefited from the N2.9million granted at the occasion, ranging from N50,000.00 to N100,000.00.

Two brilliant all-round Students of Igbajo Polytechnic, one ND1 and the other HND1 were rewarded with a grant of N100,000.00 each by Moses Inaolaji Aboaba Trust Foundation (MIATF) at the occasion.

It is all in our continuous effort to positively impact our community through lifting the poor and promoting excellence in education.

We give glory to God.

Thanks to our partners who make this possible every year.

God bless you all.

23rd Modupeoreoluwa Widows Assistance Fund

IDA Congratulates the Inaolaji Aboaba Family on 23 Years of Sustained Community Impact

The Igbajo Development Association (IDA) warmly congratulates the Chief Inaolaji Aboaba Family, the Trustees of the Modupeoreoluwa Widows Assistance Fund, and the Moses Inaolaji Aboaba Trust Foundation (MIATF) on the successful hosting of the 23rd Edition of the Modupeoreoluwa Widows Assistance Fund Programme in Igbajo.

The Association particularly commends the family for sustaining this noble initiative in memory of the late Chief (Mrs) Florence Modupeoreoluwa Aboaba, twenty-eight years after her passing. The continued transformation of her memory into a living legacy of compassion, empowerment and service is worthy of recognition and celebration.

Through the disbursement of ₦2.9 million in interest-free loans to 29 widows, the Fund has once again demonstrated that sustainable empowerment is one of the most effective ways of supporting vulnerable members of society. By helping widows strengthen their businesses and livelihoods, the initiative is not merely providing temporary assistance; it is promoting dignity, independence and hope for entire families.

IDA also applauds the Moses Inaolaji Aboaba Trust Foundation for rewarding academic excellence through grants of ₦100,000 each to two outstanding students of Igbajo Polytechnic, one at ND I level and the other at HND I level.

This investment in education sends a powerful message to our young people that diligence, discipline and excellence deserve recognition and encouragement.

For twenty-three editions, the Inaolaji Aboaba Family has consistently demonstrated that genuine community development is built through sustained commitment, not occasional gestures.

Your interventions in poverty alleviation and educational development remain valuable contributions to the progress of Igbajoland.

On behalf of the entire Igbajo community, the Igbajo Development Association expresses its profound appreciation to Chief Inaolaji Aboaba Family, the Trustees of the Fund, the MIATF and all partners whose generosity and commitment have sustained these initiatives over the years.

We pray that Almighty God continues to strengthen and prosper the family and all supporters of these worthy causes.

May the memory of late Chief (Mrs) Florence Modupeoreoluwa Aboaba continue to be a blessing, and may the seeds of kindness planted through these initiatives yield greater fruits in the lives of beneficiaries and in the development of Igbajoland.

Congratulations on another successful year of service, compassion and enduring community impact.

Signed:
Igbajo Development Association (IDA)
